We're searching for a passionate individual to join our team and elevate the unparalleled guest experience that defines us. As a Part Time Activities Representative at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, you will coordinate and facilitate property wide activities and guest events and ensure that guests are aware of all recreational opportunities available to them throughout the resort.

Tucked within historic Lake Geneva, Timber Ridge Lodge at the Grand Geneva Resort, is the only all-season, all-suite, destination of its kind in the Midwest. Featuring 50,000 square feet of year-round, indoor/outdoor waterpark excitement, Timber Ridge Lodge is a family bonding adventure that's soaked in memories. Just 90 minutes from Chicago and 50 minutes from Milwaukee, this property is also home to two championship golf courses, WELL Spa and fitness center, Mountain Top Ski Park, award-winning restaurants, and 1300 acres of picturesque grounds.

What will you be doing?

  • Set up, facilitate, and break down daily activities for resort guests.
  • Assist in creating, developing, and implementing on- and off-site events.
  • Report equipment issues or needs to the manager or supervisor before the end of the shift.
  • Help market events through approved collateral and daily broadcasts.
  • Adapt to changing circumstances, such as pool closures or room availability.
  • Complete daily documentation, including checklists, summaries, and guest feedback, and submit it to the Activities Office.
  • Prepare supplies, facilitate activities, and ensure all assigned tasks are completed diligently.
  • Attend mandatory team meetings, consult LSOPs for consistency, and communicate effectively with the Front Desk and management team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior event planning, catering, or recreation experience preferred.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and creativity.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Independent decision-maker with a safety mindset.
  • Able to stand for long periods and work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation.
