SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the HR Information System (HRIS) and managing HR reporting processes. A key function of this role is ensuring data accuracy, developing and generating reports, and managing HR system enhancements. Proficiency in UKG, and Excel is essential for success in this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Data Entry & Accuracy: Input and update employee data, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information in the HRIS database. Oversee the day-to-day management and administration of the HRIS, including system configuration and troubleshooting. Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and system checks.
  • System Upgrades and Testing: Collaborate with IT, Payroll and HR to implement system upgrades, enhancements, and conduct testing to ensure optimal functionality. Act as a liaison between HR, IT, and vendors to manage system improvements and resolve issues. Test system changes and ensures they meet business needs and compliance.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports from the HRIS system to support HR and management decision-making, analyze data trends and provide insights. Manage company org charts and work with IT to develop an HR Dashboard.
  • User Training: Train HR staff and other relevant employees on how to use the HRIS system effectively. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting. Address and resolve user issues related to the HRIS and reporting systems.
  • Integration: Work on integrating the HRIS system with other systems and platforms to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within HRIS-related workflows.
  • Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive employee data within the HRIS.
  • Project Management: Work with IT to oversee HR HRIS projects to include annual Benefits open enrollment, new integrations and system implementations and upgrades.
  • Other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, related field or a minimum of 5 years HR/HRIS experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in HRIS management, data analysis or similar role.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software (UKG) and reporting tools (Excel)
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, practices and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights for decision-making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train users, convey technical information, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when dealing with sensitive employee information.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, find solutions, and implement improvements.
  • Willingness to adapt to changes in technology, processes and organizational needs.


ANTICIPATED TRAVEL:



  • Travel opportunities may include travel to industry conferences, and site visits at company locations.
