Tile Coater Supervisor

Job Summary:

Monitor Safety, Quality, Productivity and Waste on the Tile Coater

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Promote Safety daily along with:
  
  
  
  • Monitor Settings on the Tile Line daily.
  • Collaborate with colleagues regarding waste, maintenance, quality, etc.
  • Maintain minimal waste
  • Keep daily production and attendance records
  • Complete daily shift reports; verify and approve employee time
  • Encourage and maintain a safe working environment by following all Safety policies and procedures.
  • Resolve and improve employee work team relations
  
  
  
  

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Continually improve safety performance by enhancing the safety culture and addressing opportunities for improvement.
• Promote a well-trained and motivated work force. Oversee the hiring and performance of new associates.

Performance Expectations (if applicable):

• Standing and walking is required approximately 10 hours per day.
• Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs.

Experience/Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a Finishing Tile environment is preferred but not required.
• Efficient use of Microsoft Office software.
• Leadership and organizational skills are essential.
• Overtime is required on occasion.
• High energy level
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
