Executive Assistant to Chief Medical Officer DaVita, a Fortune 200 Healthcare Services leader in kidney care, seeks an exceptional Executive Assistant to support our Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Join our team and be part of transforming kidney care delivery across the United States. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Executive Support (20%)
- Represent the CMO to internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating strong professional judgment.
- Anticipate potential problems that could impact the CMO and proactively identify solutions.
- Apply substantial knowledge in coordinating sensitive reports and analysis (e.g., budgets, board materials, and highly confidential correspondence).
Advanced Calendar & Meeting Management (35%)
- Orchestrate complex calendar and meeting schedules across multiple leadership teams.
- Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and screen communications.
- Plan and manage all Office of the CMO (OCMO) meetings, including preparation and distribution of materials.
- Coordinate extensive domestic and international travel arrangements.
- Organize high-level meetings and receptions with internal leaders and external partners.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential scheduling conflicts, ensuring the CMO's time is optimized for strategic priorities and critical meetings. Develop contingency plans for unexpected changes.
Executive Communication & Document Management (25%)
- Manage all communication and correspondence for the CMO's office.
- Make independent decisions regarding scheduling, distribution of calls and emails.
- Prepare executive-level correspondence.
- Process expense reimbursements for the CMO and handle physician invoices.
- Maintain meticulous organization of confidential documents and sensitive information.
Strategic Initiative Support (15%)
- Handle matters proactively and expeditiously while anticipating potential issues.
- Follow through on high-profile projects to successful completion.
- Support the CMO's strategic priorities by ensuring focus on critical initiatives.
- Provide continuous support aligned with the CMO's daily schedule and obligations.
- Directly contribute to the CMO's initiatives that are driving improvements in patient outcomes and shaping the future of kidney care.
Other Duties (5%)
- Additional responsibilities as assigned, including occasional event support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Prior experience of 3 or more years as an executive assistant to one or more senior-level leaders
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Exceptional executive presence, including the ability to represent the CMO in high-level meetings and confidently interact with senior leaders and external partners
- Experience working with Board of Directors and executive leadership teams
- Understanding of the complex and ever-changing healthcare landscape

- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex healthcare data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to the CMO, often under tight deadlines.
- Extreme attention to detail, sense of urgency, reliability, and commitment to excellence.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proven ability to manage highly sensitive conversations with board members, and clinical leadership, while maintaining confidentiality and trust.
- Highest level of discretion with confidential and highly sensitive information.
- Professional maturity and executive presence working with senior executive leadership.
- Ability to remain calm under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
Travel and Schedule
- Travel up to 10% required
- Flexibility for early morning, evening, or the rare weekend meeting as needed based on operational requirements
