JOB TITLE: Sr. IT Applications Developer

LOCATION: Dallas, TX (hybrid role, may work from home)

DUTIES: Perform configuration and customization of the ServiceNow platform; Meet with clients to determine business, functional, and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing, and deployment; Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training, and documentation; Produce tangible deliverables; Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes to the ServiceNow platform; Follow standard operating procedures and maintain updated ticketing for events, incidents, requests, changes, problems, etc.; Engage in continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and development efforts; Keep pace with new technology and identify ways to leverage the technology in different areas; Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting; Define design patterns for enterprise ITSM; Develop and monitor asset management functions in ServiceNow for hardware and software; Ensure infrastructure designs and upgrades are made in accordance with established ITIL standards; Mentor junior developers, offering technical guidance and support.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a ServiceNow Solution Architect or Consultant, System Analyst/Consultant, Application Developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years in developing custom ServiceNow applications using the declarative app engine, performing system integrations between ServiceNow and other applications using REST API, implementing and configuring ServiceNow Virtual Agent and workspace platform based on business requirements, and customizing workflows, forms, and reports to improve efficiency and user experience; 5 years with various ServiceNow technical areas, platform capabilities (including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Orchestration), integration methods and protocols, ITSM, ITAM and ITOM modules, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS, XML, and Jelly Script; and 5 years with CSM, Next Gen Experience, ATF, Change, App Engine, Flow Designer, UI Builder, Integration Hub, Decision Builder, Performance Analytics, SOAP, REST, and GRAPH. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
