AGE Solutions is seeking a tech-savvy, customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). In this role, you'll work with a team of experienced professionals to troubleshoot technical issues, support end-users, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems in a Microsoft 365 GCC High environment.

- Provide Tier 1
and Tier 2 IT support, troubleshooting technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. - Respond to and
resolve support tickets through the AGE Solutions Support Center. - Assist users
with Microsoft 365 GCC High applications, including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive. - Support Windows
11 environments, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices. - Educate users
on IT security best practices and compliance requirements to maintain a secure environment. - Document
troubleshooting steps, solutions, and FAQs in the internal knowledge base. - Collaborate
with teammates and escalate complex issues to higher tiers when necessary.
Requirements
- US Citizenship
required.
- CompTIA
Security+ Certification required.
- 2+ years of
experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
- Must reside
within a commutable distance of Alexandria, VA in order to work a hybrid onsite schedule of 3 days/week.
- Hands-on
experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications, Windows OS, and enterprise IT environments.
- Basic
networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP).
- Strong
troubleshooting skills and the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical users.
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience
working in a DoD or government IT environment.
- Familiarity
with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of
security compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-171 or CMMC.
- Ability to
obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
- Prolonged
periods at a computer.
- Handling / shipping
packages of up to 30 pounds.
- Occasionally
crawling under desks/climbing step ladders etc.
