Job Type: RegularStrategic Communications Coordinator Position Description As a member of RAND's Corporate Communications and Branding team, the Strategic Communications Coordinator will play a vital role in communicating RAND's story with important policy audiences. Working under the guidance of the Director of Corporate Communications and Brand, the Coordinator will contribute to essential team priorities including brand management and external stakeholder engagement through meetings, events and speaker programs. These initiatives aim to deepen connections between RAND and key audiences within the policy community. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and collaboration skills, excellent communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for public policy and RAND's research and mission. Writing Sample Required Candidates must submit samples of their work demonstrating their writing and content creation skills. Samples may include brand assets, corporate social media content, posters or flyers, or PowerPoint presentations. Education Requirements A bachelor's degree is required. Experience Two to three years of relevant experience. Location This position is based in RAND's Washington office in Arlington, VA. This position is eligible for RAND's hybrid work environment, which enables a blend of on-site and remote work. On-site presence is required three days per week; specific on-site days will vary based on employee events schedule. Salary Range: $75,700 - $112,400 RAND considers a variety of factors when formulating an offer, including but not limited to, the specific role and associated responsibilities; a candidate's work experience, education/training, skills, expertise; and internal equity.The salary range includes base pay plus RAND's sabbatic pay (which provides additional compensation above base pay when vacation is taken).
