Senior Manager, Software Engineer

As a full time, exempt Senior Manager, Software Engineer with CPS Solutions, LLC, you will work under the direction of and in collaboration with the Director, Software Engineering to lead the development and successful implementation of CPS proprietary applications associated with the enterprise. The Senior Manager, Software Engineering is expected to develop strategic relationships with all business partners including but not limited to, CPS Operations, Clinical, Compliance, Consulting, Specialty, and associated business units. You will develop and implement IT strategies and collaborate with key business stakeholders to gain appropriate business capabilities to drive the enterprise, including mobile capabilities. The position will be the primary contact between IT and the business for enterprise applications.

Pay Range: $160,000-$170,000 based on experience with bonus potential

Primary Responsibilities: (not all inclusive)

  • Lead the Development team of 9 plus disparate systems.

  • Deliver an Agile Development Framework using SDLC tools such as Jira or Microsoft DevOps.

  • Demonstrates a sound understanding of mobile application development.

  • Establish and maintain a standard of IT Operational Excellence.

  • Grow and sustain a winning team.

  • Bring strategic thinking and technical expertise to Application Development functions.

  • Work collaboratively across the organization to align the needs and capabilities of the organization.

  • Shape a high-performance and results oriented culture.

  • Work with lead technical architect to lead development teams to complete development initiatives accurately, on time and on budget.

  • Implement controls across the organization where quality is implemented to ensure accuracy of data.

  • Collaborate with business product owners and executive sponsors of the IT Transformation to bridge gap between what business capabilities are desired into one comprehensive strategy and enterprise platform.

  • Track and report progress of development initiatives.

  • Strategically plan on applications for possibility of licensing applications for external use.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • An advanced degree (e.g., MS Information Technology, MS Computer Science, MBA) is preferred
  • 6+ years of related experience in technology development
  • 3 years of successful, progressive leadership experience
  • Java /.net hands on development experience required
  • Agile experience in leading and maturing teams
  • Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, and self-sufficient
  • Strong business writing and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
