Copy and paste the link in your browser: Pharmacy Technician Video with Voiceover.mp4 Position Summary: The Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for a variety of duties to assist in the preparation and packaging of medications, distribution and delivery of medications, supporting the maintenance of proper inventory levels, and keeping appropriate records and documentation. Shift: Full-time, rotating days, evenings and nights Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Licensure/Certification: Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certified required. Required Work Experience: No pharmacy technician experience required as long as certified and registered with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy; a minimum of 3-6 months of work experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital pharmacy setting desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Requires knowledge of pharmacy work routines, procedures, materials and/or equivalent. Requires IV admixture and chemo certification by the pharmacy department. Salary Range: Minimum $18.84 per hour - Maximum $21.87 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
