*Hybrid * *Columbus *Minnetonka *Flint *Detroit *Dallas (fully remote until office is ready) *Chicago *Charlotte *Akron *Cincinnati *Description* *Job Description* The Senior Infrastructure Lifecycle Engineer is responsible for meticulously tracking this Tier 1 Bank's Infrastructure IT Assets throughout their entire lifecycle through ownership of documented, auditable processes, while communicating key messaging with engineering and leadership, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the Bank's risk posture. *Infrastructure Lifecycle Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:* * Maintains accurate, auditable *CMDB *records for network, server, and storage Infrastructure hardware and *software assets* throughout all phases of the IT asset lifecycle. * Creates and maintains detailed documentation on IT asset lifecycle processes, in compliance with regulatory requirements and risk and audit standards. * Serves as a lead resource for Asset Management related projects including, but not limited to, on-site audits, mergers and acquisitions, support and licensing true ups and true forwards, and location openings and closures. * Displays an intense focus on protecting the company and its customers through the tracking of proper data sanitization during asset and media disposition processes. * Performs regular inventory audits to ensure data accuracy in CMDB, vendor managed warehouses, shipping and receiving records, to proactively identify and resolve incidents and problems. * Provides effective production support including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue. * Keeps abreast of current and emerging technologies, and the changing landscape of IT Asset Management, and understands how they integrate and drive value for Tier 1 Bank. * Maintains current professional and technical skills. Performs other duties as assigned. *Senior** Level Additions:* * Ability to understand and track support, maintenance, licensing, SAAS, and enterprise contracts, and communicate key messages to leadership and finance teams. * Has a high level of financial literacy and is able to work with finance teams to forecast and track total cost of ownership and depreciation schedules for IT Assets. * Has a deep understanding of best practices for Software Asset Management. * Able to drive collaborative process improvement, including onboarding and offboarding workflows used by multiple engineering teams and business partners. * Manages infrastructure asset refresh schedule and communicates important lifecycle milestones to engineering and leadership through regular meetings and monthly reporting. * Delivers presentations with minimal supervision. * Dissects complex situations and refocuses on critical technology tasks. *Skills* * *Asset management* * *ServiceNow* * *Software* * Assets * Hardware * Financials *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
