THE POSITION

We are seeking a hardworking Clerical Assistant 1 to help us retrieve documents on microfilm for the Bureau of Driver Licensing (BDL) and the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV). DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 1 for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, you will provide document retrieval services for internal and external customers throughout the department for BDL and BMV. Document retrieval will include gathering images stored on microfilm, microfiche, CD-ROM, and ECS (Enterprise Content Services). You can expect to validate documents for the enrollment of customers into REAL ID. Your duties will include processing work using an electronic inbox and maintaining a daily production report. In this position, you will identify problems with images, as well as maintain and troubleshoot the microfilm reader. Additionally, you will assist in researching microfilm rolls, misfiled rolls, and file records.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
