Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will participate in the planning, tracking analysis, and reporting on projects of varying contract types, sizes, complexities, and levels of risk. This role involves significant interface with Project Managers, Contracts, Senior Technical Personnel, and other organizations to ensure successful project outcomes.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Participates in the planning, tracking analysis, and reporting on projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk.
  • Responsible for implementation of financial policies and procedures in support of projects; establishment and maintenance of cost/schedule baselines; development of WBS and related dictionaries, schedules or Resource Loaded Networks (RLN's) and budgets; implementation of Earned Value methodologies and performs related variance analyses; and preparation of written and verbal reports to management regarding cost schedule variances.
  • Significant interface with Project Managers, Contracts, Senior Technical Personnel, as well as other organizations.
  • Participates in development of advanced concepts, techniques, and standards. Develops new applications based on professional principles and theories. Viewed as expert in field within the corporation.
  • Establishes operational objectives and assignments.
  • Participates in development of solutions to problems of unusually complex, which require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation.

Desired:

  • Highly Desired: past or present experience with SSC or mission partner space control or space situational awareness mission area programs

Education Requirements:

  • BS/BA along with a minimum 15 years of relevant experience
  • or Master's degree along with a minimum 13 years of relevant experience
  • or PhD along with a minimum 4 years of relevant experience

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret, SCI eligible.
  • Eligibility for access to SAP Information.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Location/Travel Requirements:

  • Place of work is El Segundo, CA or Colorado Springs, CO
  • May require travel up to 10% of time within the continental United States.

The pay range for this position is $160,000/year to $205,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract wages, job- related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
