Description

We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher who is passionate about championing user insights and driving a customer-centric culture across a large organization. In this role, you will lead high-impact research, evangelize findings across teams, and champion research insights with aims of influencing product strategy, design, and business decisions.

This role is for the first UX Researcher within Sinch's new US-based Voice of the Customer team. In this early phase, everyone on the team will wear many hats as we establish the organization and begin to deliver value. We're looking for self-starters with a growth mindset, as we'll likely encounter challenges along the way. You will report to the Voice of the Customer director, within the Product Design organization.

Responsibilities

Evangelizing Research Insights & Driving Organizational Influence

  • Champion the value of UX research across the company by delivering compelling narratives, reports, and presentations that resonate with executives, product leaders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate research findings in engaging, actionable ways through workshops, storytelling, interactive share-outs, and executive briefings.
  • Collaborate with product colleagues to craft strategic roadmaps based on deep user insights and emerging behavioral trends.

Research & Insights Development

  • Build and lead strategic UX research endeavors to discover user needs, struggles, and opportunities, applying qualitative and quantitative methods (including user interviews, diary studies, surveys, behavioral analytics).
  • Synthesize and frame research insights to help teams develop a clear, shared understanding of the user experience.
  • Translate sophisticated findings into actionable recommendations that guide product strategy and drive customer impact.

Collaboration & Partner Engagement

  • Facilitate cross-team workshops and working sessions to ensure research findings translate into tangible product improvements.
  • Provide mentorship and training to help product managers and designers develop user-centered approaches and research proficiency.
  • Influence senior leadership by delivering data-driven insights in a way that is both compelling and persuasive.
Requirements
  • Proven experience conducting UX research, with a strong track record of influencing product and business strategy.
  • Deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, in-depth interviews, surveys, and behavioral data analysis.
  • Outstanding storytelling and communication skills, with experience addressing senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to turn research findings into actionable insights, ensuring teams can easily apply takeaways to product decisions.
  • Strong understanding of product development, design thinking, and user-centered methodologies.
Preferred:
  • Experience working within a globally distributed large company.
  • Experience working with technical customers and regulatory industries

The annual starting salary for this position is $132,288.00 - $165,360. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
