About the Position and Job Qualifications

As our Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist I, you will hold responsibility for preparing loan documents and reviewing closed loan commitments for new, renewed, refinanced, and modified basic commercial credit transactions. If you have a keen attention to detail and enjoy working in a collaborative environment - we want to hear from you!

This is a full-time position. Usual days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Hours vary depending on business needs.

What you'll need to be our Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist I:



  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One-plus years of loan documentation experience or three-plus years of equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code; Regulations B, C, and Z; RESPA; the Fair Credit Reporting Act; the Flood Disaster Protection Act; and other federal; and state regulations related to lending, consumer compliance, and commercial lending policies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products, including Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as other job-related programs from generating loan documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.

What you'll do as a Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist I:



  • Review new loan packets to ensure all documents are received from the Lending Line.
  • Analyze loan applications, commitment/loan worksheets for proposed loan transactions and closed loan transactions.
  • Adhere to Mabrey's EXCEED Customer Service Standards.
  • Prepare and audit various documents for execution at loan closing.
  • Uphold courteous and professional communications with teammates and customers.
