Description Position at Total Mechanical Service Preventative Maintenance Technician will require evening hours Preventative Maintenance Technician responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment at our customer locations. Provides preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and responds to emergency service calls on equipment including coolers, freezers, HVAC equipment, ovens, fryers, steamers, warmers, and dish-cleaning equipment. Job Responsibilities:* Perform preventative maintenance ofrefrigeration, HVAC, and cooking equipment Complete service calls promptly, treating customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalism Overnight PMs are done quarterly Tech is guaranteed 40 hours a week while only working Monday night to Thursday night. Communicate effectively with customers, managers, dispatchers, and sales Participate in normal rotation of after-hours and weekend standby duty Identify new customers and additional opportunities within existing accounts Maintain Service Vehicle Order Parts and Complete Required Paperwork Attend Training Sessions Other Duties as Assigned Minimum Requirements: Two years of HVAC and refrigerationequipment service (or related military) experience Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills Extremely strong customer communication skills 100% dedication to working hard, being on time, and staying organized Pass Drug Screen and Background Check Maintain a valid driver's License with a good driving record Desired Characteristics: Experience with coolers, freezers, HVAC units, fryers, ovens, steamers, ranges, broilers, warewash,etc. CFESA certification and Factory Training Computer literacy Benefits of Employment: Competitive hourly rates and overtime pay Company vehicle Company cell phone Medical, vision, and dental benefits Life Insurance Vacation and Holidays 401 (k) program Technical training A stable customer base and consistent work Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
