The candidate hired for this position will work closely with and assist engineers in the conduct of various engineering assignments. This engineer will be working in a small, synergistic project team giving each team member the opportunity to make significant contributions to the team's efforts and to gain a great sense of achievement. The primary focus of this position is in the area of components engineering; whereby the candidate will be responsible for the selection of alternate or substitute components for those items deemed obsolete or not quite acceptable for the current application. U.S. Citizenship required. This position may require an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
