PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Responsible for collecting and analyzing supply chain data, creating, and maintaining accurate BOMs, measuring usage forecast accuracy and recommending improvements to boost performance and reduce costs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Support reaching KPI targets through analysis and process improvement.
  • Report and collaborate with leadership on SCM KPIs.
  • Create processes and methods to gather and use supply chain analytics.
  • Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.
  • Create a process and schedule to audit BOMs.
  • Work with internal and external customers to create and utilize strategic sustainable processes to maximize information.
  • Collaborate with internal IS to understand and improve data collection and output.
  • Develop a measurement tool to determine BOM accuracy. Report accuracy results to management.
  • Facilitate any discussions required to resolve issues related to BOM creation and maintenance.
  • Understand the cost impact of changing materials and items, as well as its impact on processing orders, inventory values, and variances.
  • Evaluate RFP's for total cost impact and collaborate with team on vendor selection.
  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (warehousing, utilization, etc.)
  • Develop, implement, and maintain all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed for the uniformity and quality of operations and in keeping with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
  • Meet operational strategies defined by management by analyzing trends, preparing critical measurements, implementing productivity improvements and resolving problems.
  • Oversee inventory procedures.
  • Works effectively to maintain interdepartmental communication, cooperation, and respect.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be a proficient PC user.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to develop actionable insights from data analysis.
  • Must be comfortable presenting data analysis and recommended actions to large groups of people.


WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES



  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ Years Analyst experience desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform SCM analysis and inventory management in a non-MRP environment.
  • Ability of develop actionable insights from data analysis.
  • Must understand the concepts of business process documentation and improvement.
  • Possess solid decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to:

    • Follow directions and work independently without direct supervision.
    • Be focused, organized and detail oriented to focus on specific tasks for long periods of time.
