This position performs clinical tasks such as applying superficial heat/cold modalities, performing therapeutic exercise programs, functional training and patient ambulation by following direction/delegation by a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant. The PT Aide prepares patient waiting and treatment areas for treatment sessions, including maintaining and ordering linen/supplies and equipment inventory/maintenance. In addition, the position performs registration and scheduling for the PT team as required.
Education Effective interpersonal and communication skills and strong computer skills are required to succeed in this position. This would be an ideal position for someone pursuing a PT degree.
