The Johns Hopkins Hospital's Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner will provide clinical care in the Newborn Nursery on Zayed 8. The NP will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and is responsible for providing comprehensive and age appropriate care to both well and ill patients. The NP educates patient families and/or intervenes in acute or chronic illness. The NP promotes mother/baby couplet care and provides lactation consultation services to all new mothers on Zayed 8. The Nurse Practitioner practices within the guidelines of the unit department, and institution and in accordance with the Nurse Practitioner- Physician Written Agreement required and approved by the State of Maryland. Salary Range: Minimum 71.16 per hour - Maximum 71.16 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
