The company is currently seeking an Jr. IT Operations Analyst.



Responsibilities

Position Summary/Primary Purpose

The Jr. IT Operations Analyst help to resolve problems regarding computer software or hardware and provide general support for company facilities. The position requires maintaining tickets in the IT Ticket system by providing timely details and updates on tickets assigned. The position may also include installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading hardware with the assistance of a senior Operations member. The role will require daily participation in site actives which may include various clerical and labor tasks as time permits.

Major Areas of Responsibility

    Provide excellent customer service to fellow employees while assisting in resolving their issues or concerns.
  • Report any site concerns to Operations Supervisor and Act as a primary contact for site services.
  • Maintain status and resolution of all user requests and escalate as necessary to Operations team members.
  • Image computers and help users with initial setup.
  • Responsible for providing and maintaining security access for door system.
  • Install software and peripheral equipment. computer hardware/software configuration, setup, and troubleshooting. Configure use of Projectors, TVs, Monitors and other display configuration devices.
  • Install/configure/support Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Record and maintain inventory of locally stored IT equipment within IT ticket system.
  • Communicate and contribute to team-based efforts
  • Maintain and assist in building operation responsibilities as required.

Broad Knowledge as Follows

  • Microsoft Teams and Office Products
  • Basic computer parts and operational understanding
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to twist, bend, crawl, walk and sit for long periods.
  • The ability to work off shift and overtime as needed is required.
  • Ability to travel as required to support other locations.


Qualifications

Skills & Abilities as Follows

  • Up to 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
  • Experience with imaging PCs is preferred.
  • Help Desk experience preferred.
  • Some understanding of TCP/IP and Networks
  • Must have patience, the desire to help others, logical/deductive thought process, tolerance and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Must have strong communication and customer service skills, and ability to work in team environment.
  • Microsoft Windows Operating System

Education & Experience

  • Up to 2 years of experience is preferred
  • High School Diploma Required
