DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Construction Project Administrator 1, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with contractors and other Commonwealth personnel to identify, develop, conduct, implement, and monitor standard work for each assigned project. Standard work includes but is not limited to, professional selections, process approvals, delegated event approvals, fiscal decisions, schedule approvals, professional evaluations, conflict resolution, utility agreements, proprietary requests, bidding, error/omission change order evaluations, professional evaluations, and other areas as needed.
Within this role, you will be responsible for managing
multiple large scale, multi-year construction and infrastructure improvement projects, in addition to providing technical and administrative guidance and direction to professionals and contractors on matters related to construction projects. This professional performs regular on-site project inspections to ensure projects remain in conformance with plans, specifications, policies, and procedures.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- This position is considered essential, meaning you may be required to report to work for emergencies and office closings.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six years of experience in building construction administration, construction planning, or multi-trade building construction project management in commercial or industrial facilities; or
- Two years of experience in building construction administration, construction planning, or multi-trade building construction project management in commercial or industrial facilities; and a bachelor's degree in construction technology, architecture, building science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, building automation systems, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes two years of experience in building construction administration, construction planning, or multi-trade building construction project management in commercial or industrial facilities.
Special Requirements:
- You must possess an active motor vehicle license.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
