Job Summary
- This role uses a blend of creativity and data-driven decision-making to analyze, identify and coordinate programs / initiatives that deliver results across the Company. Key responsibilities include partnering with HR Business Partners to implement talent processes and programs that will build organizational capability and individual talent strength by leveraging talent Management frameworks, processes, and tools for the talent cycle, Talent calibration, talent playbooks, performance management and succession planning.

Responsibilities
- Support the talent strategy, initiate program setup, establish and implement program management plans, monitor program results and develop sustainability measures
- Partner with Business Leaders and HR Business Partners to understand the business of the department / function, identify long-term Talent Management needs, and ensure that Talent Management initiatives are adding measurable value by strengthening talent
- Collaborate with key Stakeholders and use innovation in the design, development and project management of talent management programs and initiatives
- Manage communication and change management efforts required to ensure successful implementation and adoption of talent initiatives across Southwest
- Provide talent planning, development, bench strength, and succession expertise to HR Business Partners, People Department Leaders and Business Leaders to cultivate buy-in and partnership
- Train and coach HR Business Partners on talent management tools, resources and processes
- Support Talent Development as a strategic business partner by understanding the overall organizational strategy
- Manage and coordinate activities for the annual and quarterly talent review program and developing and reviewing 9-boxes
- Manage and coordinate activities for calibration, succession planning, performance management programs, including the development of tools and resources to support the process
- Manage and coordinate activities for Check-in process including the development of tools and resources to support the process
- Develop an enterprise view of talent strengths and gaps and consult with HR Business Partners and Talent Management Leadership to develop plans and talent playbooks to address gaps
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of performance management, succession planning, and career development
- Knowledge of leading a small project Team
- Knowledge of using statistical information to identify trends and track progress of the programs
- Skilled in tracking track and execute multiple projects while maintaining a high level of attention to detail under tight time frames in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in setting program goals and milestones and work independently to meet or exceed these goals
- Skilled in influencing skills and be able to solve problems
- Ability to tell a compelling story with the use of data
- Ability to influence at Leadership levels and demonstrate consulting skills
- Ability to research, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
- Talent Development, Talent Management, Organizational development or related experience
- Managing projects
- Program design and implementation
Physical Abilities
- Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
- Ability to use a computer with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Pay & Benefits: Competitive market salary from $100,700 per year to $111,900 per year* depending on qualifications and experience.
