Scientist 6 months- possible extension Location/Site: Irvine, CA, 92612 - 100% Onsite Isolation & characterization of human blood cells and in vitro cell assays- Contractor will request donor samples, isolate cells from human or monkey peripheral blood, set up cultures with isolated cells, perform cell stimulation or differentiation by test compounds, harvest cells and supernatants, prepare these samples for further analysis; run ELISA, Luminex or MSD tests to study immunosafety of compounds; analyze and present the data generated by these experiments. What are the top 3-5 skills, experience or education required for this position? * BS or MS & 1-3 years biochemistry, bio analytical or immunology lab experience * Primary cell isolation and culture * Sterile technique, pipetting samples, generating titrations/dilutions, dealing with cells, making buffers * ELISA, or other ligand binding assay basics * In vitro cell assays * Enthusiastic, organized What is a nice to have (but not required) skill, experience, education, or certification? * Luminex, MSD or Gyros * Flow cytometry * Assay development experience * 100 % Lab, benchwork, team and individual work M-F regular business hours Interview Process: virtual interview 1st round with panel Final interviews will be onsite 1-2 hours | |
