Chief Enterprise Architect LOCATION: Washington, DC - Forrestal Building
Target Compensation: Proposal Pay Range Position Overview: This is a position with a critical agency, as a Chief Enterprise Architect for a future role contingent upon award. Responsibilities:
- Individual will typically have at least ten (10) years of experience as data architecture, BI developer, or BI manager with extensive use of data components and information management systems (transactional data) to determine platforms, processes, and procedures for central data warehouse based on business requirements and technical specifications. Experience also integrating capability and information to address data security/authentication and web accessibility requirements.
- Experience with centralizing data from all data stores into a data warehouse and connect the warehouse into enterprise BI tools. Applied technology to transform complicated data into useful information using BI software to collect, store, and analyze business intelligence data with visualizations to present data clearly and accurately. Experience designing/develop solutions for dashboards, creating automated dashboards, developing multiple views and integrate them into dashboards using a combination of predictive analytics and real-time reporting for accurate data-driven intelligence.
- Experience also supporting and maintaining entire business intelligence backend, including data warehouses and data lakes to produce machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) insights to support reporting and analysis outcomes.
- Experience leading use Extract, Load, Transform (ETL) processes across a variety of data sources to design/develop solutions for aggregated facts using metadata, creating processes to manage high volumes of data at one time, and optimize data modeling and database solutions to sustain data governance and data democracy.
- Oral and written communication skills to regularly articulate complicated BI concepts and to collaborate with program stakeholders including IT and business program and project managers, data architects, scientists, analysts, business intelligence teams, cybersecurity analysts, and data quality management teams.
- Experience diagnosing and debugging operational issues for data warehouse and BI support components. Team-based experience in software lifecycle management including supporting automated testing and documentation, code versioning, and change and configuration management.
