Here's what you'd do:

  • The Systems Engineer IT performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
  • Analyses are performed at all levels of the total system product including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

  • Pay rate: $39.50- $65.00/hr.
  • Hours: 4/10-3rd Shift
  • Length: Temporary (9 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in Linux Server Administration (RedHat and SLES)
  • Minimum of 4 years experience with Windows Server and Desktop OS.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience scripting (Windows(PowerShell)/Linux(shell scripting)
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in requirements and verification
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • DoD IAT Level II certification (i.e. Sec+ CE)
  • Knowledgeable in information systems networking
  • Agile Software Development
  • GitLab familiarity
  • Linux
  • MS Windows
  • IT Security Administration
  • Experience working with VMWare/ESXi, VSphere, and Hyper-V for automated configuration/updates
  • Experience with Excel, Agile, Atlassian tool suite (JIRA/Confluence), and IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM).
  • Application/Software: GIT, McAfee, Nexus, Ansible
  • Experience in configuration mgmt. of packages and patches, version control, and service packs
