Extrusion Technician

Are you passionate about mechanics and ready to take on a new challenge? Join our team at Staffmark in Huber Heights, OH, as an Extrusion Technician! In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up tooling and downstream equipment, starting production lines, and assisting with extrusion operations under the direction of the Team Leader or Supervisor. With multiple shift options available, you can choose the one that best fits your schedule and work-life balance.

Pay Rate: $18-$20 per hour

Shift Available: A Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

As an Extrusion Technician, you will set up and shut down extrusion machines, troubleshoot and resolve quality issues when operators need assistance, and conduct quality inspections to maintain high standards. You'll manage materials for extrusion lines, assist operators, dispose of scrap, and operate lines as needed. Additionally, you will adjust production processes to correct errors, track and document daily run times for extrusion orders, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic math, measuring skills, and 1-2 years of extrusion or manufacturing experience
• Ability to read instructions, use measuring tools, and operate forklifts and warehouse equipment
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and safety-conscious
• Flexibility for overtime and reliable transportation
• Ability to stand for 8-12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in noisy, dusty environments with exposure to varying temperatures (safety glasses provided)
