CSI Aerospace, inc is seeking an Engineering Intern for the 2025 summer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Assists with the development of repairs for aviation components
  • Investigates and improves manufacturing and repair processes
  • Conducts experiments, analyzes data and interprets results
  • Provides technical and project support to other team members
  • Designs test equipment and programs test systems
  • Tests and evaluates designs
  • Identifies, formulates and produces effective solutions to problems
  • Manages projects to schedule and budget
  • Estimates budget and scope of project
  • Supports customers that use the product
  • Prepares project, product and activity reports and project documentation

Education:

Current student actively pursuing a degree (BA/BS) in Engineering from a four-year Oklahoma college or university. Specific focus in aerospace, electrical, mechanical or manufacturing.

Skill Base:



  • Familiarity to expert with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., Solidworks, AutoCAD, ProE or other)
  • Solid understanding of core engineering fundamentals including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, electronics etc.
  • Mathematical and analysis tools knowledge (Matlab, Excel, LabView, etc)
  • Creativity and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
  • Technical writing skills


Specialized Knowledge or Abilities:



  • Language: English
  • Computer Skills: Strong desktop/workstation computing environment, engineering computing and MS Office skills
  • Applications: Usage of and experience with Solidworks and LabView



Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Summer residence locale that allows daily commuting to Broken Arrow, OK.
