Public Safety Officer - 1st Shift: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm (M-F)

JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE: Under general supervision, protects employees, patients, visitors, medical staff, physical plant and equipment, controls traffic inside and outside buildings and performs related public safety duties as assigned.

   Policy Enforcement and Safety Management

   
   
   
   
   • Ensure all policies are enforced to maintain the safety and security of the clinics.
   • Consult with departments on the design and use of safety equipment and security measures.

   Security Oversight

   
   
   
   
   • Address and respond to the security needs of the clinics effectively.
   • Identify potential safety concerns and recommend corrective or preventative measures.
   • Document daily activities and irregularities, including equipment or property damage, theft, unauthorized presence, or unusual occurrences.

   Team Collaboration and Relationship Building

   
   
   
   
   • Support a positive work environment that fosters strong working relationships.
   • Assist the department/clinic in achieving its goals and objectives by taking on additional assignments as needed.

   • Use work time effectively to complete assignments within expected timeframes.
