Note that this position requires being on call one week out of every four. Responsibilities 1. Performs locksmith duties to the entire university. - 40% 2. Repairs and maintains exterior and interior doors - 25% 3. Assists with maintenance and repairs to appliances, furniture and other equipment found in residence halls - 15% 4. Administers key and lock program for the university - 10% 5. Assist the technical operations and grounds teams with maintenance and repairs. - 10% Required Skills
2+ years of locksmith experience. Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional Information Travel: This position requires little to no travel. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop and/or laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones. Complies with environmental health and safety requirements and procedures as outlined in University and State policies and directives. This position may be required to enter active construction sites and may need to access areas of the university that vary in temperature. This position may require exposure to chemicals and pesticides. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The job requires extended periods of sitting and traversing the Bethel Campus on a regular basis. Must be able to lift items weighing 50+pounds. Expected Hours of Work: Typically, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with the expectation to work specific schedules and hours as identified and communicated by management. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This is a 40 hour per week, 12 months per year position. This position also requires being on call one week out of every four.
