Taking care of our planet is a tremendous responsibility -and a remarkable opportunity. One way Cox strives to support sustainability is by enlisting an Investment Recovery Program Analyst, a purpose-driven person who supports analytics and audits for nationwide Investment Recovery program transactions, such as our employee electronics recycling programs, our zero-waste-to-landfill efforts, finding ways to monetize assets we're not using through resources like resale, recycling, and donations, and managing our vendor relationships.

So, if lending your formidable talents to helping make the earth a bit healthier enthuses you...and the idea of balancing fiscal and environmental responsibility is in your wheelhouse, keep reading. This might be an opportunity worth investing in. (See what we did there?)

What You'll Do

The Cox Enterprises Investment Recovery program is a pivotal component of the Cox Conserves environmental strategy to achieve some ambitious and critical goals. It is our intention to achieve Zero Waste to Landfill by 2024, and carbon and water neutrality by 2034. Suffice to say, this is truly a job where you can make a difference. Here are some of the main responsibilities you would tackle as our Investment Recovery Program Analyst:

  • Support our program analytics and audits for end-of-life asset disposition activity across a wide variety of asset categories.
  • Review data and analyze the costs and benefits - as well as the impacts on our internal and external environmental footprint - of end-of-life assets and materials through reuse, resale, recycling and donation.
  • Partner with local teams, logistics partners, and vendors to manage the lifespan of disposition-related activity.
  • Touch every stage of our audit reports and keep your leadership up to date on our various sustainability performances from vendors, sales, and even keep scorecards to help provide data visualization for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders to identify and escalate ideas for new regional cost-savings initiatives related to end-of-life assets.
  • Contribute to national and regional Environmental Councils and "green teams" as an analytics subject-matter expert (SME), sharing your know-how on sustainable asset dispositioning and materials management for each market or region supported.
  • Work with our internal and external customers to calibrate and measure vendor operational performance SLAs.
  • Develop clear, constant documentation of processes, transactions, and results, then share these reports through channels that allow contributing teams to keep track of their efforts.
  • Support regional risk management and environmental compliance teams by reporting recycling activity to local and regional groups.
  • Take part in, and complete, continuing education so you can stay up-to-date on best practices across multiple industries.
