We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. What You'll Be Doing: Lead the development and execution of the company's annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting processes Analyze and consolidate financial forecasts and budgets Assess KPI scorecards and monthly performance reports, synthesizing key insights and recommending corrective actions as needed Examine profit-and-loss statements and prepare reports and recommendations for management Analyze, interpret, and communicate cost and expense variances Aggregate and prepare monthly sales forecasts and estimates Assist in capital expenditure analysis and provide detailed budget performance updates for executives Support the development of relationships with financing sources, partners, and acquisition targets Assist with balance sheet, income statement, and financial position/budget variance analyses Conduct ad hoc analyses and review financial reports as needed Contribute to technology transformation initiatives Evaluate financial and operational trends to improve decision-making Support the development of forecasting models, including AI-driven approaches Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives Help build and analyze long-term financial forecasting scenarios Job Requirements and Preferences: Minimum of 3 years of experience in FP&A or Finance Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and planning Ability to translate business requirements into clear, non-technical insights Experience with financial software such as NetSuite and/or Planful is preferred but not required Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset, capable of adapting to shifting priorities MBA or CFA is preferred but not required What You'll Bring: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, data analytics, and financial modeling Ability to multitask and prioritize diverse tasks while meeting strict deadlines A deep understanding of financial drivers, including revenue, capital expenditures, operating expenses, and cash flow Vaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
