Litigation Paralegal Job Summary:

Our client, a well-established law firm specializing in personal injury litigation, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in managing cases from initial intake through trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have experience in case management, discovery, legal filings, and client communication, with a strong understanding of personal injury litigation procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
  • Manage case files and track deadlines to ensure timely case progression.
  • File legal documents electronically using the Judicial Branch website.
  • Compile and organize discovery materials, including medical records, police reports, and witness statements.
  • Communicate with defense counsel, clients, medical providers, and insurance companies to gather necessary information.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, organizing evidence, and drafting trial documents.
  • Schedule depositions, hearings, and court proceedings, coordinating with attorneys and clients.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize case law relevant to ongoing cases.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in personal injury law.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation processes, personal injury law, and legal terminology.
  • Proficiency in electronic court filing systems (Judicial Branch website) and legal document formatting.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with attorneys, clients, and external parties.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent education/experience is preferred.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
