Role Description & Responsibilities

Our Dassault Systemes Electromagnetics Tech Sales team is excited to announce we have a hybrid internship opportunity available in our Waltham, MA office. As an intern on the global Electromagnetics Tech Sales team, you will support our global Tech Sales force with in-depth knowledge and expertise.

Work with team members to build relevant example geometries and solve challenging technical problems using state-of-the-art electromagnetic simulation software. Contribute to the delivery of high-quality technical documentation and improve understanding of electronics and electromagnetic theory and its application to specific customer cases.

You will Perform various tech sales projects, including:

* Revise and create training materials

* Perform and document proof-of-concept studies

* Test and optimize emerging workflows

Qualifications

* Grad student in electrical engineering, physics, or an equivalent field. Experience with electromagnetic field simulation. Familiarity with SIMULIA tools, specifically CST Studio Suite or Opera is an advantage.

* In-depth knowledge of electromagnetic field theory, electronics and power electronics, and / or interest in the engineering aspects of electromagnetic devices

* Experience writing computer code (preferably Python and/or VBScript) is a plus

* solid mathematical and physics background

* Enjoys technical challenges and problem solving.

* Strong communication skills and ability/willingness to work in a team environment are needed.

* Desire to learn more about cutting-edge electromagnetics simulation of applications in many industries (High Tech, T&M, A&D, Life Sciences).

In addition to working with your direct team, as a member of Dassault Systemes NAM Intern Program you will be invited to our Speaker Series, Lunch and Learns, Networking Events and employee functions.

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $27 - $40 per hour.
