This position is accountable for managing product data, information and content required in support of digital customer experiences intended to increase brand preference, purchase opportunity, and grow sales. This position is also responsible for providing general administrative support to the various areas making up the Global Architectural digital commerce organization.

Core functionalities may include but are not limited to: searching out product information from detail pages, regulatory information, internal/external contacts. Supporting site functionality including product compare, purchase history, guided navigation filters/categories/attributes, customer dashboard, and shopping cart. In addition, support customers using procurement systems to transact by overseeing order and invoice flow.




  • Contact Sherwin-Williams stores and customers to resolve issues relating to eCommerce transactions


  • Ensure that orders and invoices are meeting the expectation of customers


  • Partner with Sherwin-Williams National Accounts and Finance department to maintain a positive eCommerce experience for customers


  • Provide, verify, and maintain product data that supports all digital touch points such as Sherwin-Williams.com, PunchOut Catalogs, and the SW ProApp.


  • Administer, load, and support asset management and ongoing maintenance to ensure effective, compliant, and up to date customer-facing data.


  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to obtain product data information to drive content optimization and delivery approaches within all digital customer experiences, tools, and applications.


  • Ensure data governance best practices are followed so availability of accurate and consistent information flows.


  • Identify defects in enterprise systems and submit tickets to work with technical support teams to ensure fixes are implemented.


  • Identifies needed enhancements within the product data management system STEP to increase productivity and efficiencies and presents findings to Manager


  • Responsible for enriching and classifying products within STEP via web portals and workflows for syndication to multiple internal and external systems including WebSphere commerce and digital catalogs.

1. Formal Education:



  • Completed high school
  • Some college course work completed



2. Knowledge & Experience:



  • Preferred:

    • Retail/sales knowledge and experience is preferred, along with point-of-sale (POS)/(AOM)/(PIM)/(IVAN) and Price Record Card (PRC) pricing structure knowledge preferred.
    • Experience managing data




3. Technical/Skill Requirements:



  • Required:

    • Experience with Excel.
    • Must be detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple projects at once.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a very fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills along with a proven track record of collaboration with multiple internal and external partners.
    • Understanding a broad range of products across divisions, Channel Partners, businesses, partner providers and diverse market segment customers.
    • Obtaining accurate and timely information and assets from personnel across the organization or outside partner contacts - many with varying roles and diverse responsibilities.
    • Keeping up with changing promotional plans and merchandising strategies across multiple divisions, businesses and partners.
    • Efficient management of product information project priorities to ensure accuracy and consistency across disparate product information repositories and systems and customer digital experiences.
    • Must be able to quickly acclimatize to working with various business, technical and development teams.
