SENIOR MANAGER, CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

The Role:

Our site in Aurora, Illinois is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Program Manager to join our team. Entegris' ongoing profitability relies on continuous improvement, which in turn requires innovation and specialized skills in Kaizen, Six Sigma, program management, data analysis, engineering, automation, and industry best practices. Additionally, Local manufacturing sites need global coordination and direction to share and implement best practices, while global leadership is critical to set strategies and create roadmaps to determine how sites will drive productivity, improve efficiency, embrace automation, gain insights from data, and deliver value to customers at optimal cost through various CI programs and methodologies.

What You'll Do:

  • Champion a learning and results culture that adopts new methods and make good use of new systems as they are implemented.

  • Coordinate with non-Production teams to keep global interests aligned and initiatives moving forward.

  • Provide direction to functional teams to achieve annual goals and LRP targets.

  • WCM Team Support and Leadership:

  • Continue to research and build knowledge base around WCM best practices, metrics, and philosophies.

  • Develop and grow WCM vision within Slurry Production such that we always have a roadmap of improvements and projects ahead of us.

  • Prioritize project work and other actions within this group so we deliver consistent value and meet our annual cost reduction targets at each site.

  • Drive excellence within our capital project and CI project portfolio management so that annual budgeting and LRP development are efficient and consistent year-to-year.

  • Training Support and Leadership:

  • The Training team is responsible to help drive the learning culture and develop new standards in the areas of onboarding, certification processes, and collaborate with the corporate Training Director to deliver company initiatives

  • The CI team will be a global team with a local representatives for the Continuous Improvement team overall to help drive adoption and implementation of best practices, new tools, etc., while also giving a direct feedback route for local teams to give their thoughts to Continuous Improvement.

  • Train and maintain the CI team to deliver:

  • Site project portfolio management - help sites develop a queue of projects and then build scoping and justification documents to allow for optimal prioritization of resources to work on each project.

  • Culture change champion - driving an agile and learning culture that embraces new technology and improved processes, while developing a sense of curiosity and engagement at all levels of the site's organization.

  • TA responsibilities - Continue to support the training curricula for each Production function, along with maintaining the courses and system for their site's needs.

  • Employee Development - AOP included a site-level analysis of skill gaps. Each site needs to develop plans to address these gaps

What We Seek:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical or chemical engineering, or equivalent experience within engineering

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification

  • Minimum 10 years' experience as an process or CI engineer working with industrial processes, preferably in batch processing industries such as specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food additives, etc.

  • 5+ years' experience doing manufacturing process data analysis and modeling is preferred

  • Working knowledge of analytical visualization tools (SAS Visual Analytics, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)

  • 10+ years' experience in project/Program management, with indirect and/or global leadership experience

  • 5+ years' experience in Continuous Improvement (Shingo, Six Sigma, etc.) program management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate global and cross-functional teams

  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification, preferred

* Compensation: $124,000 - $165,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
