Manager Mortgage Lending Sales

This position ensures regional and area business development goals, including mortgage lending, align with overall Bank sales and community development objectives. Manages a team of associates who aid fair lending and community goals by servicing mortgages for culturally diverse organizations. Ensures an understanding of the Bank's sales strategy, quality standards, and service level expectations for assigned team. Builds strong relationships with regional and area leadership to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of mortgage activities, ensuring compliance with laws regarding diverse lending.

• Business Strategy - Provides strategic, directional, and tactical leadership to a team of mortgage sales and processing associates. Partners with area executives within an assigned market to create business development strategies, and assists in the development of operational budgets and goals. Focuses on tactics that integrate and compliment the Bank's overall community development and performance objectives.
• Diverse Lending - Leads staff team through the implementation of a formal sales discipline. Provides reports to senior leadership summarizing regulations affecting relevant work groups within the division, and communicating necessary actions for regulatory compliance. Assesses the product and process knowledge of team to address knowledge gaps. Responsible for team adherence to regulatory guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and division goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximizes department achievements by providing sales and professional development.
• Relationship Development - Builds strong relationships with Bank leadership, referral partners, and operations teams to enhance mortgage processing and achieve production goals. Develops both internal and external referral sources to generate new banking relationships, with an emphasis on external source development.

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Mortgage or Relationship Management OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Mortgage or Relationship Management

License or Certification Type: Must complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by the SAFE Act. Required, Must possess a valid driver's license. Position requires frequent driving to other offices, bank customers, etc. Bank car not provided.
