The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Our Child Life Specialists work collaboratively to promote optimal development and prevent psychological trauma in hospitalized children, adolescents, and children of adult patients. By providing comprehensive programming and interventions, our specialists proactively engage our most vulnerable patients to provide connection and support. To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in child life, child development, education, or a related field. A Masters degree in a related field is preferred. Previous Child Life internship experience and/or professional experience as a Child Life Specialist is required. While a Child Life certification is preferred, you will be required to obtain this certification within one year of employment and maintain it throughout your employment in this role.
