The Role:

We looking to fill the Loading Technician role with the responsibilities of loading products, performing manual operations, basic troubleshooting of wash operating system, and various other duties.

The position will be onsite in Gurnee, IL.

Compensation:

The current hourly salary is estimated to be $22/hr. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You'll Do:

  • Loads liquid product into designated finished goods containers and preforms final product inspection before shipment to customer or warehouse
  • Meets customer requirements for washing, fillings, documenting, and sealing loads
  • Liquid loaders are assigned to work in liquidload out
  • Inventory clean and dirty empty trailers daily
  • Work with shipping/logistics/loadout operations todetermine trailerstobewashedand trailer wash priority
  • Operate wash station equipment
  • Remotely operates process via Foxboro or DLCS and PLC's
  • Conducts routine tours and inspections of tanks, loading bays and other areas as assigned
  • Manually manipulates equipment and preforms other manual operations as required (e.g. manipulates valves, attaches hoses and fitting, positions loading spouts,etc....)
  • Samples and analyzes process samples
  • Communicates effectively, both written and verbal, with other employees, Team Leaders and Contractors
  • Works with maintenance employees and contractors to complete equipment repairs and modification
  • Carries out loading and housekeeping schedules as defined in verbal and written Team leader notes, truck schedule, and Master Cleaning for the assigned area

What You'll Need:

  • 18 years or older
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience within manufacturing
  • Willing to work a rotating swing swift in a continuous production environment
  • Experience working with machinery preferred
  • Able to lift 50lbs on occasion
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently

Physical Demands:

Physical demands of this position include repetitive use of hands and arms. Individual must be able to talk, hear, see, and distinguish colors. Individual must be able to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 lbs. and climb stairs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Schedule- 8 hour rotating schedule: Weekly rotation, includes weekends and Holidays
