We are seeking a Bilingual Collections specialist responsible for providing a quality customer experience while working to collect and resolve outstanding account balances. In this role, you will contact customers to determine the reason for payment delinquency and obtain payment commitment. You will partner with customers to evaluate their financial situation, negotiate for full payment, or create terms for repayment. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential to achieve department productivity metrics. Key Responsibilities: * Contact customers to determine the reason for payment delinquency and obtain payment commitment. * Evaluate customers' financial situations and negotiate repayment plans. * Document collection efforts thoroughly using established policies and procedures. * Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers during collections calls. * Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills to achieve department productivity metrics. Qualifications: * Bilingual in Spanish required. * 1+ year in call center/customer service with 6+ months of collections experience. * Proficient at navigating computer software, internet, and applications. * Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping people. * Experience in banking, loans, or mortgage is a plus. * Ability to learn quickly and multitask. * Punctuality and good attendance are a must. * Able to adjust work schedule for coverage and work overtime. * Must have good tenure and work history. Work Environment: * Training: 2 weeks in classroom, 1 week in training pod on the floor, then permanent schedule. * Schedules assigned based on business needs: 7am-5pm, Monday-Friday. * All work is in-office. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
