Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC seeks a motivated Defense Sector Lead for growth, account management, and strategy.
Opportunity to develop abilities, collaborate with a dynamic team, interact with various customers, enhance CGS' service offerings.
Job Responsibilities
As a Defense Sector Lead, you will:


  • Lead the Account Executive and Business Development team across the Defense Sector to drive sequential growth

  • Develop and complete annual/multi-year strategic sector plans

  • Brief CGS Board of Directors on sequential progression against strategic plans

  • Build and strengthen executive client relationships and technology partnerships across the Defense market

  • Shape, develop, and present Capgemini thought leadership at key industry events

  • Develop high potential employees to build a pipeline of future leaders

  • Cultivate an entrepreneurial culture that supports client outcomes and accounts for growth

  • Drive a OneCapgemini approach to harness relevant Capgemini commercial capabilities


Required Qualifications:


  • Shown experience building large-scale consulting and technology accounts within Defense

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience leading high-performing account, portfolio, and sector teams

  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in government contracting and technology

  • Trusted SES relationships across Defense

  • Strong understanding of the shifting market trends across DoD

  • Demonstrated experience selling complex technology solutions


Desired Qualifications:


  • Prior commercial consulting and/or commercial technology experience is a plus

  • Outstanding leadership, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Growth mindset and broad corporate experience leading change

  • Outstanding written, technical, and oral presentation skills when working with C-suite collaborators

  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial work ethic necessary to lead within a rapidly growing environment

  • Must be local to the DC, Maryland, and Virginia Area

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $200K - $250K.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
