Broker II - Defense Base Act Workers Compensation - National Marine Practice Are you in the exciting marine insurance space? Do you have specialty experience within Defense Base Act Workers Compensation? Join our growing Defense Base Act Workers Compensation (DBA) broking team! As part of Aon's industry leading Defense Base Act Workers Compensation (DBA) broking team, Aon is seeking a senior broker to join the team and assist with empowering results for Aon's DBA book of clients of all sizes. As a Senior Broker, you will report directly to Aon's Marine Data & Analytics, Longshore & Harbor Workers Compensation & Defense Base Act Broking Leader, as part of the National Marine Practice. This is a hybrid role working from either our Washington, DC Office, New York, NY Office or Philadelphia, PA Office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management of a complex portfolio of DBA clients, from large to small, including the placement and service, as well as ensuring client deliverables are maintained. The individual is accountable for acting as the representative for Aon's DBA borking team on clients across the United States and globe on assigned new business and renewal opportunities. The ideal individual leads by example as a strong sponsor of Aon's Leadership Model: supporting local colleagues, promoting and ensuring connectivity, collaboration and cooperation within the Marine Practice practices, and fostering the knowledge, best practices and resources around our DBA accounts. Further, the ideal individual leads by example within Aon' successful DBA go to market strategy and looks for opportunity to work with the USL&H and DBA broking leader to continuously improve such strategy and client deliverables. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $140,000 - $165,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
