Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager.

The mission of the Real Estate Development and Facilities (RED&F) is to plan, develop, operate and maintain the campus of the NYU Langone Health and provide the foundation for its growth and success in the future. RED&F provides strategic campus planning and project development service, including architectural studies, programming, design, construction and associated infrastructure and technological upgrades, both for new structures and renovations to existing structures on the NYU Langone Health campus. RED&F also operates and manages all facilities, infrastructure and related support services across the enterprise.
RED&F is composed of the Real Estate, Housing, Planning & Project Development, Facilities Operations & Management, Design Studio, Finance & Administration, Campus Security, Environmental Services, Environmental Health & Safety, Radiation Safety and Clinical Engineering divisions.

Reporting to NYU Langone Health's Senior Project Manager, Interiors the Project Manager, Interiors, will work to create and maintain the NYULH design aesthetic across all areas of the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and work with Interior design consultants on capital projects as it relates to furniture and finishes.
  • Supervise RED&F interior design, APMs, coordinators and Interns.
  • Research and oversee development of materials library, supervise Library consultant.
  • Identify and coordinate Lunch and learns, continuing education, and showroom visits for the RED&F.
  • Responsibility for completing in-house interiors projects, including the selection presentation and specification of Interior furniture and finishes
  • Assist with updating relevant Interior design sections of the RED&F Design Guidelines.
  • Provide furniture budgets for all capital projects.
  • Remain current on improvements in Interior design of healthcare environments including changes in legislation and regulations.
  • Keep up to date on the introduction of new and improved furniture and finishes in the healthcare industry.
  • Utilize software programs such as Unifier, Buildflow, Aware Manager, Tableau and PeopleSoft to manage furniture procurement.
  • Coordinate with other departments to further communication and collaboration. Areas of focus are Ergonomic, Sustainability, Environmental, Infection Prevention and Real Estate.
  • Oversee Furniture procurement, specify furniture, track furniture orders, and oversee all aspects of furniture installations.
  • Maintain furniture inventory and reuse documentation.
  • Track and review Aware managers requests to insure timely resolution on issues.
  • Evaluate products to ensure they perform in accordance with NYULHS Guidelines.
  • Complete and evaluate information from Post occupancy surveys.

  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to work on multiple projects;
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility;
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Working knowledge of construction project management and project scheduling
  • Ability to communicate clearly and foster a collaborative work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years experience in Interior Healthcare design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
  • Should be proficient in Auto Cad, Power Point ,Blue beam and Revit, Photoshop, MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Interior Design.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $94,500.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
