Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Project Manager.

Reporting to NYU Langone Health's Director of Interiors, the Senior Project Manager will work to create and maintain the NYULH design aesthetic across all areas of the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the work of interior design consultants on capital projects as it relates to furniture and finishes.
  • Supervision of RED+F interior PM and APM design staff and consultants.
  • Responsibility for overseeing in-house interiors projects, including the selection, presentation and specification of interior furniture and finishes.
  • Assist with updating relevant interior design sections of the RED+F Design Guidelines.
  • Evaluate products to ensure they perform in accordance with NYULH Guidelines.
  • Provide furniture budgets for capital projects.
  • Manage and oversee the selection, procurement and installation of furniture throughout the NYULH enterprise.
  • Oversee Furniture procurement, specify furniture, track furniture orders, and oversee all aspects of furniture installations.
  • Oversee and maintain furniture inventory and reuse documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with other NYULH groups including Ergonomics team, Sourcing Department, Project Support Office, Environmental Health and Safety, Building Services, Sustainability and Real Estate and Housing as it relates to furniture selection and procurement.
  • Remain current on improvements in interior design of healthcare environments including changes in legislation and regulations.
  • Ensure the majority of the furniture and finish specifications meet the Healthy Hospital requirements.
  • Utilize software programs such as Unifier, Build Flow, Maintenance Connection, PeopleSoft and Tableau to manage furniture procurement.
  • Track and review Maintenance Connection requests to insure timely resolution on issues.
  • Assist in gathering and preparing documentation for submission to Practice Green health.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 years experience in Interior Healthcare design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
  • Knowledgeable in Auto Cad, Blue beam, Acrobat, MS Office, Power Point, and Photoshop

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
  • Certification in ASID, IIDA, NCIDQ a plus

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $117,107.95 - $143,227.82 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
