Description greenfield application being supported from the ground-up on a new enterprise software platform. Our client is in need for a Principal Engineer with deep Rust expertise-especially in Async Rust, to help create a strong foundation. We're looking for someone who has built and scaled a great Rust application, navigated the challenges of growth, and understands the road ahead. Experience building multi-tenant SaaS enterprise applications Proven track record of seeing projects through from early-stage development to mid/late-stage success with reasonable usage and scale Comfortable taking on multiple roles and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment Skilled at aligning technical execution with business priorities to drive product success We are looking for strong mentors with a proven record of making your team better Nice to Have Has contributed small fixes or improvements to a major Async Rust library like Tokio Some c# experience as some of our developers have .Net development experience, and a shared vocabulary would be valuable Skills Rust, Async Rust, .net, C#, Sql server, docker, scaled agile framework, saas, native development, cloud, rest, graphql, Erpss, Development, dental imaging software, dental claims, billing systems, react, kubernetes, postgresql, mongo Top Skills Details Rust Development, .Net, C#, Sql Additional Skills & Qualifications Enterprise software design principles: cloud native application design SOLID, 12 Factor applications, or similar) Experience with distributed message & event processing, api gateway, service mesh, serverless applications; AI/ML principles, MLOps fundamentals. Expertise in microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Hands-on experience with creating CI/CD pipelines. Experience with scalable and resilient system design. Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) offerings. Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
