Maine Medical Center

The Senior Trauma Registrar role oversees the collection, analysis and coding of health and medical information on trauma and burn patients. Organizes and generates registry data for research, quality assurance and facilities planning.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Education required to hold clinical license as a RN, LPN or RRT or five years of trauma registry experience and CSTR Certification required.
  2. License/Certifications: Certified Abbreviated Injury Scale Specialist (CAISS) required within two years of employment. Certified Trauma Registrar (CSTR) required within three years of employment.
  3. Experience: Two years of clinical experience as a RN, LPN or RRT or five years trauma registry experience with certification required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
