Job SummaryThe Senior Flex/HRA Analyst position includes a variety of technical and administrative tasks that support the Flex/HRA Department and assist in the development of staff. This role handles technical questions from the team and advanced FSA/HRA functions. These functions include but are not limited to backing up supervisor on escalated calls/claim issues as well as trouble shooting claim flow/processing issues.

In addition to these tasks, the Senior Eligibility Analyst is responsible for all of the same tasks as a Flex/HRA analyst including providing quality service by timely and accurately reviewing/ entering and/or modifying flex/HRA claims data in the flex/ hra proprietary system according to established procedure and client requirements. This includes manual claim submissions by participants as well as claims submitted electronically. This position is also responsible for responding to telephonic, written and electronic account detail inquiries (PMC/web inquires) from participants.

This role is based remotely, however candidates must live in one the following states: IL, MT, IN, IA, KS, MO, NC, NM, OK, PA, TX or WI.

Job Description:

  • Assist with training team members
  • Serve as a resource to team members
  • Support and encourage team members, and promote a positive work environment.
  • Provide feedback to Supervisor/Manager and input for Performance Evaluations as appropriate.
  • Based upon the client's plan design requirements and IRS regulations and methods of flex/HRA claim and debit card substantiation submission, review, interpret, enter, process and/or audit submissions for new, challenging or high profile clients in a timely and accurate manner utilizing the flex/ hra proprietary system.
  • Review and resolve flex/HRA error and audit reports.
  • Maintain assigned flex/HRA Work Queues according to Luminare Health procedure and turnaround time expectations.
  • Assist with tracking workflow turnaround times
  • Work with supervisor and/or Technical Flex/HRA Analyst to resolve escalated eligibility, payroll, demographic, and plan setup issues.
  • Respond to telephonic, written and electronic inquiries from clients/brokers, employees/members, and co-workers regarding flex/HRA submissions.
  • Resolve client or member/employee escalated issues and inquiries
  • Follow-up regularly on outstanding issues to ensure timely resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Thoroughly and accurately document all inquiries using the flex/ HRA proprietary system and Family Files following Luminare Health guidelines
  • Research and resolve flex/HRA issues and inquiries from other functions, e.g. Claims, Customer Service, Client Management, Broker, and Client
  • Serve as a subject Matter Expert on project teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of FSA/ HRA experience and/or benefits experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service & production driven environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with employees/members, providers, clients and differing levels of co-workers including Client Managers and all levels of staff
  • Ability to use common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written or diagram form
  • Flexible; open to continued process improvement
  • Self-directed individual who works well with minimal supervision
  • Good leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to give direction and provide feedback
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Ability to effectively deal with problems in varying situations and reach resolution
  • Ability to learn new/proprietary systems, to adapt to various system platforms, and to effectively use MS Excel/Word

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Self-Funded or Fully - Insured/Benefits and/or TPA experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous leadership experience

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plansubject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Min to Max Range:

$17.71 - $33.25
