Description
The School of Arts and Sciences at West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech), part of the WVU system of campuses located in Beckley, WV, is currently inviting applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions to teach in the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters of 2025. Potential areas of need include English, History, Music, Art, Mathematics, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Chemistry, Biology, Forensic Investigations, and Early Enrollment courses. Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise. Salary is established on a per-course basis. All positions are part-time and not benefits-eligible. The successful candidate will be responsible for in-person and/or online courses for the undergraduate programs in the School of Arts and Sciences. Qualifications
These positions at minimum require a master's degree, doctoral degree preferred, in one or more of the course subject areas, as well as evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate level. Commitment to teaching excellence, responsiveness to student needs, and good communication skills are essential.
