Behavior Technician

If you are a Paraprofessional, Registered Behavior Technician, Behavior Health Technician, or a Personal Care Aide, this is the opportunity for you!

We providePAID clearances, training and have opportunities for clinical supervision towards licensure.

Earn up to $17.76- $20.69 (experience and education)

Monday-Friday (minimum availability of 15 hours) Must be available for at least 4 evening shifts 4pm-730pm!

POSITION DETAILS

• At Merakey, you can make a change in the life of a child. Using evidence-based treatments (such as Applied Behavior Analysis - ABA) to provide 1:1 direct service in family homes, schools, and community settings.
• Complete timely ongoing data collection, including parent/staff correspondence and all required documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Required:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) is required
• 3-6 months or more experience working with children with autism or disability.
• Availability to work some evenings until 7:30 pm Monday - Friday.

Preferred:

• Associate or bachelor's degree.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician certification OR ability to complete 40 hours of competency-based training within 1-2 weeks of employment.
