We are seeking a strategic and innovative Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our Corporate Trust Structured Finance digital products team. This role is hybrid (in office 3 days a week) based out of our New York City, NY - Lake Mary, FL - Pittsburgh, PA office. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- This role will be at the forefront of driving customer engagement, optimizing user experiences, and delivering measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of product expertise, business acumen, a user-first mindset, and digital savvy.
- Executes the strategic vision for product owning the overall product roadmap, and alignment of teams around delivery goals. Constantly identify opportunities to enhance product capabilities and client solutions to drive customer satisfaction and business growth. Bring client and market research to help uncover unmet needs and stay current and relevant with competitive offerings, ensure BNY Structure Finance platform is competitive and future proof.
- Continuously grooms & reprioritizes pod backlogs, provide strategic input & decisioning, manage & reduce blockers, & ensure continuous flow of work for pods
- Provides leadership support to multiple pod-level Product Owners and ensure alignment across multiple pod-level product backlogs.
- Accountable for all risks originating from services delivered (including remediation efforts) & owns, manages and aggregates view of risk across the product
- Develop pricing and go-to market strategies and materials for the product; track product metrics including financial outcomes
- Brings client and market research to help uncover unmet needs and stay current and relevant with competitive offerings
- Provides day-to-day directions to guide product operations including managing issue escalations and risks
- Collaborate with Platform Leadership to share progress, flag challenges, and codify lessons learned
- Role models desired cultural changes to all team members
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Expertise:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Computer science, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is desirable.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial product management, with a recent focus on Capital Markets experience within a Financial Institution, Corp Trust, Fin Tech or similar, infrastructure provider
- Direct knowledge in the Securitization marketplace including the Asset Backed, Mortgage Backed, Conduits and related offerings
- Experience with agile methodologies and delivering through cross- functional teams.
- Digital savvy, with hands-on knowledge of software product development.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $113,000 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
