Responsibilities

SafeGuard Services (SGS), a subsidiary of Peraton, performs data analysis, investigation, and medical review to detect, prevent, deter, reduce, and make referrals to recover fraud, waste, and abuse.

We are looking to add a Business Analyst to our SGS team of talented professionals.

What You'll do:

    The Business Analyst position requires the individual to conduct research on internal case workload data and other sources of information to create and revise reports that are responsive to customer requirements and ad hoc requests for information.
  • The position is also responsible for supporting management by providing information, insight and recommendations for operational and systems changes needed to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
  • The position is also needed to support contract teams and provide outreach and training as directed by management.
  • Telework available from Eastern Time Zone


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors and 0 years relative experience or High School and 4 years of relative experience
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Access, Excel, reporting extracts, and Web Intelligence or equivalent.
  • Strong proven analytical ability and basic knowledge of report editing and analysis
  • Proven Ability to work with a variety of systems, sources of data and analytic tools
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Applicant must live in and work in Eastern Time Zone

  • Ability to analyze data to identify and compare norms, trends and patterns.
  • Ability to present issues of concern, and citing regulatory violations to support findings
  • Ability to communicate effectively, internally and externally
  • Ability to prioritize work to effectively adhere to strict timeliness requirements.
  • Ability to handle confidential material.
  • Ability to conduct self-directed research to uncover problems in workload reporting, data input, information input or operational efficiencies.
  • Ability to attend meetings, training and conferences, overnight travel required in some instances.
  • Ability to support other in-office teams, as location permits.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team to deliver high quality work.

Target Salary Range

$39,000 - $62,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
